NEW BOOK"Darkness is where the stars are"
new collection of poems to be published by cinnamon press in november 08. Patrick's first new book since against in 2003
promises to be his most challenging and provocative yet. Taking in such issues as religious fundamentalism, violence against males, education, bullying, the destruction of the environment, the war in iraq as well as patrick's most intimate and personal poems to date the book aims to reach a wide audience.

faction collective present this harrowing and provocative piece that explores the issue of male victims of domestic violence. Patrick has spent months researching the play and is based on over 40 interviews with men who have experienced domestic violence- it tells their stories it confronts this hidden issue.
supported by the dyn project cardiff, mankind uk, chapter arts centre and the welsh arts council. Nathan and Stacey have put a tremendous amount of work into the piece and are not only actors in it but producing the piece too.
It opened at Chapter Arts Centre in july 08 and is available for booking at theatre well as other, non theatre venues.It has recently gained a lot of interest in the USA and it is hoped will tour there later in 2009.
Gwent Theatre has just commissioned Patrick to develop and write a new play exploring the effects of violence upon children. A Lament For Moths is a radical new play for young people and the project promises to be an exciting, provocative and tragically relevant piece that will open and tour in Spring 2009. Patrick is also currently working on projects with the welsh national opera, llanhilleth institute and cancer research's relay for life.
